Functional Zero Homelessness in Redondo Beach
In June 2024, Redondo Beach became the first city in Los Angeles County to achieve Functional Zero Street Homelessness. Even more importantly, we have maintained that achievement ever since, something no other city in Los Angeles County has accomplished.
The 2026–2027 Budget
After several months preparation and public discussion, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2026–2027 Budget, which takes effect on July 1.
Coastline Cares - neighbors helping neighbors
Coastline Cares is a local organization that connects volunteers with neighbors who, because of financial or physical limitations, need a helping hand with yard work and basic home maintenance. Fulton Playfield Infiltration Project
The Fulton Playfield Multi-Benefit Infiltration Project has been years in the making and represents a significant investment in protecting our coastline, improving water quality, and strengthening our stormwater infrastructure.
Citywide Crossing Guard Program
The City of Redondo Beach and the Redondo Beach Unified School District (RBUSD) are continuing to announce a series of changes to the City’s school crossing guard program to be implemented for the start of the 2026–2027 school year.

Measure FP
We heard you loud and clear when we were discussing whether or not to contract our local fire department out to LA County Fire Department. Overwhelmingly residents wanted to keep their local Redondo Beach Fire Department. This bond keeps our local dollars invested in what we value greatly, our own local fire department, police department, and dispatch.
New City Logo
A South Bay native brand designer, Jordis Small along with a logo committee made up of 5 individuals representing each district has presented a new city logo.

A Clean Campaign
I began this campaign motivated to set a new tone for elected officials and politics in Redondo, and I have not changed.
Metro Green Line Update
The next meeting in Redondo Beach will be February 22nd 5pm-8pm at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Other scheduled Metro meetings will be posted on the Metro website around January 26th as well as the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR).
